The article discusses the issues related to the economic policy of the Russian government, which has a direct impact on the development of the country both in the short and long term. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the sources and dynamics of capital investments as a key factor in economic growth, and the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policy as the main instruments of economic policy. The need to formulate a new (original) model of economic growth based on the "self-reliance" strategy is emphasized, in which an increased attention should be paid to technological breakthrough, energy and food security, as well as import substitution in the key sectors of the economy.

The scientific article gives information about the experience of forming the structure of agglomerations in the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazakhstan. The article also identified aspects that determine both positive agglomeration effects and risks in the development of urbanized areas.

The article reflects various aspects of the transition of road transport from traditional fuel to compressed natural gas. A historical analysis of this process is given. The results of a bibliometric analysis of the concept of “compressed natural gas as alternative fuels” are presented, which demonstrate the thematic and geographical landscapes of research, realities and prospects for the use of natural gas as a fuel for road transport. It is concluded that the success of the introduction of compressed natural gas directly depends on the scale of support from the state and private entrepreneurship. It is emphasized that currently the environmental component of the use of new motor fuels is becoming no less important than the economic benefits. Therefore, the transition to compressed natural gas for refueling personal, freight and public transport can be considered as an effective measure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality.

The article proposes the Cobb-Douglas economic-statistical function modified by the author, which allows to comprehensively assess the nature of the impact of the intensity of the use of the digitalization potential on the efficiency of the company's financial and economic activities. Various possible variants of the elasticity coefficient with the digitalization intensity factor are considered, the most rational management decisions in the field of digital management of the company's development are highlighted. The main differences of the proposed model from the classical version of the Cobb-Douglas production function are systematized.
